The V3 Racing Wheel is a video game accessory developed by Interact for the Sony PlayStation 2. The V3 kit includes an analog steering wheel with 11 digital buttons and a dual pedal board extension for acceleration and braking. A standard controller port plug connects the wheel accessory to the PlayStation 2 console. In order to use the V3 Racing Wheel, a series of button combinations must be entered while powering on the console.
Plug the V3 Racing Wheel into the player one controller port and turn on the PlayStation 2 console.
Hold down the "Start," "L1" and "L2" buttons on the steering wheel until you hear two beeps.
Hold down the "Set" button until the Mode LED indicator begins to flash.
Press the "Circle" and "Select" buttons together to initialize the analog control mode. The Mode LED indicator will stop flashing, and two beeps will be heard.
Hold down the "Set" button until the Mode LED indicator begins to flash.
Press the "Left" and "Select" buttons together to calibrate the analog sensitivity. The Mode LED indicator will stop flashing and two beeps will be heard. The V3 Racing Wheel is now configured for the PlayStation 2.
Warnings:
- Certain models of the V3 Racing Wheel are incompatible with newer models of the Sony PlayStation 2. Read the documentation included with your accessory to verify whether or not it is compatible with your specific console.
