Digital mug heat press machines are used to transfer designs and decorate mugs. These machines use a digital control system combined with heat to press images on many types of mugs of various sizes and material. The digital mug heat press machine features a knob for adjustable mug size, replaceable heater elements, accurate and thorough heating, maximum printing capacity, digital time and temperature readings and rapid heating. These machines are beneficial for designers, business owners, advertisers and crafters.

Choose a photo to transfer to a ceramic mug. Use your computer's photo software program to crop and adjust the selected photo. Determine which side of the paper your printer images to, then insert suitable decal paper. Using sublimation ink, print the design onto the decal paper, then trim the sides to fit the mug.

Choose a suitable mug for heat transfer. This includes coated ceramic mugs, metal mugs and metal bottles that can withstand temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius. Secure the transfer paper to the mug using a piece of heat seal tape.

Place the mug in the press machine. Adjust the height and pressure to fit your mug appropriately.

Turn on the power switch to the press machine and a temperature light will illuminate. Use the up and down arrows to select the desired temperature, typically 180 degrees Celsius, and press "OK." The timer light will now illuminate.

Use the up and down arrows to select the required time, normally 15 seconds, and press the "OK" button. The temperature will start to rise. Once the selected temperature is reached, the buzzer will sound. Press the "OK" button again and the timer will begin counting down. When the buzzer sounds again, the process is finished.

Take out the mug and remove the transfer paper; the image is transferred to the mug.

  • Turn the heat press off after an hour of use and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
