Phillips Magnavox TVs come in variety of models that include old CRT monitors, and new flat screen LCDs and plasmas. This allows you to connect your PS3 gaming console using variety of ways. PS3 gaming consoles output content in hi-definition and standard-definition. With this capability, you can choose the connection method your Magnavox TV supports. Connecting your PS3 to your TV is a quick and simple process. Within minutes, you can be playing your favorite games, watching videos or browsing the Internet.
Using HDMI Cable
Connect the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the back of your PS3, and then connect it to any open "HDMI INPUT" on the back of your Phillips Magnavox TV if you're using an HD model. If your TV has more than one HDMI Input, select any one of them, but make note of the port's number.
