Things You'll Need
- Piano chord book
Music is a must for church gatherings, camps and services. Worship songs are an important addition to your devotional time and experience, as music sometimes has the ability to touch people in a way that words cannot. If you are planning a worship service, or wish to worship privately in your own home, here are some pointers to get you started.
Open your chord book to the table of contents and find the pages that teach the chords "C", "F", "G" and "A minor."
Practice playing the chords in one of the following orders:
Am, F, C, G, (repeat) C, G, F, C C, F, C, G, C
Use your favorite search engine online to search "Worship chords". You may also search for the name of your desired Christian song. (See Resources.)
Print out these chords and practice singing while playing. It will get easier the more you do it.
Practice for at least 20 minutes a day. In about a week, playing will be considerably easier for you.
