The main function of a seal is to authenticate a document. A gold seal is widely recognized as a sign that the document is official. Sometimes these certificates are printed, while other times they come as a gold blank that is then embossed with an official seal. Printing gold seal certificates is a very simple and straightforward process.

Open a word processing program such as Microsoft Word or Open Office Writer. Click the “File” tab. Press “New,” then click “Templates” on the next menu. To find the gold seal template, type “gold foil notary seal” in the search box on the top right corner. Choose the one that suits you best; download it.

Edit the seal by click on the text boxes in the template. An option saying “type text here” will be given. Change the text to whatever you wish. Edit the font size, color and style.

Add photos, logos or clip art to customize your seal. Click “Insert,” then “Picture” and finally “Clip Art.” Choose from the available images on your computer‘s hard drive.

Insert the certificate into your printer. Click on “File,” then “Print.” Make any necessary changes to the print preview, such as changing the paper size.
