The 1, 2 Step dance is similar to the traditional Grapevine.

1, 2 Step is a hip-hop single performed by Ciara and Missy Elliot from Ciara’s first album "Goodies." The track was released as Ciara's second single in October 2004. The song quickly gained popularity across the United States and dominated the international charts within a few weeks. In the music video, Ciara and Missy created a dance called the 1, 2 Step. Along with the song’s success, the dance became a big hit in the clubs. Now, you, too, can groove to the song by learning the 1, 2 Step.

Play the song "1, 2 Step" and wait for the chorus, "Let me see you 1, 2 Step. I love it when you 1, 2 Step."

Step out to the right side with your right foot.

Cross your left foot behind your right foot.

Take another step to the right with your right foot.

Touch your left foot next to your right foot.

Step out to the left side with your left foot.

Cross your right foot behind your left foot.

Take another step to the left with your left foot.

Touch your right foot next to your left foot.

Repeat the steps throughout the chorus of the song.
