A USA Today subscription allows you to receive a newspaper every Monday through Friday at your home or place of business. Individuals with such a subscription continue to get billed for the newspaper until the subscription is canceled. While USA Today does offer a customer service Web page for feedback and other comments, a newspaper subscription cannot be canceled using this particular service. Contacting USA Today via phone is the only way to cancel a subscription, and the process only takes a few minutes to complete.
Gather the information relevant to your USA Today subscription: first and last name, account number, phone number, company name if one is associated with the account and email address if one is associated with the account.
Call the USA Today National Customer Service Center at 1-800-872-0001.
Wait until the automated service directs you to press the “6” key, which is associated with the "Stop or Cancel Subscription" option. Then, press “6” on the phone. Speak with the customer service representative and explain that you want to cancel the subscription. Ask for the individual's name and a cancellation confirmation number or code before ending the call.
