The classic game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey has been played at countless parties and events. Several versions have been created depending on the type of party. Give the game a Valentine's Day twist when you want to play the game close to the holiday. Play the game with young children and even adults during a Valentine's Day party, or even play the game in your classroom.

Play Pin the Arrow on Cupid by printing out or drawing a large cupid character and putting it on a wall. Then print out bows and arrows for each player in the game. Have each player try and get the bow and arrow as close to the cupid's arms as possible. Or, simplify the game by printing out just arrows.

Make it simple with a large heart shape. Draw a smaller heart directly in the center of the larger heart, like a bull's-eye. Cut out several hearts as big as the center heart. Have each person try and tape the smaller heart to the heart on the board.

Create a large heart-shaped box of chocolates with one piece missing. Cut out chocolate shapes, and have each child try and place their piece of chocolate as close to the missing spot on the chocolate box. Use the same idea but replace the chocolate box with a conversation heart box.

Things You'll Need:

  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Variety of paper including construction paper and card stock.
  • Sticky tack
  • Tape

Tip

Use tape or sticky tack when playing the game especially with young children.
