Name brand cigars come with a band around them that has the manufacturer's logo on it. You can give your own a cigars a personal touch and a professional look by designing and printing your own custom cigar bands. You can make your own custom cigar bands with your name or logo on them with a graphic design program such as MS Paint, Photoshop or GIMP, and a home printer.
Things You'll Need:
- Scissors
- Measuring Tape
- Printer
- Graphic Design Software
- Paper
- Glue
- Computer
Measure the circumference of the cigar with a piece of measuring tape and write down the measurement.
Using a graphic design application such as MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop, click on "File" then "New" to create a new document. Set the width of the document 1/2 inch longer than the circumference of your cigar, and set the height at 39 pixels. Make your design and save it as a JPEG file.
Double click on the JPEG file you just saved to open it. Click the printer icon to print the image on your home printer.
Use a pair of scissors to cut out the band. Wrap the band around the middle of the cigar and place a drop of glue on the backside where the ends meet and overlap to seal the cigar band.
