Magician's wax is one of a magician's most commonly used tools. It is used as an adhesive to help do a large number of things, from sticking two cards together so they look like one, to connecting strings to objects. It can be applied quickly, with little effort and is clear, which makes it near impossible to detect.

Open the glue stick and twist it up all the way so that the glue is as far out of the tube as it can be.
Let the glue stick sit and dry out for 2 to 3 hours.
Cut off the amount of wax you want once the glue has dried out to the point where it has the consistency of wax.
