We have all seen custom license plates as we drive down the road and had the occasional chuckle over what they say, or been impressed by their artistry. If you have ever wanted to make a license plate, the process is quite easy, as long as you live in a state that allows it.
Go to an online site that makes license plates, and sign up for an account (see Resources).
Select what kind of license plate you want. You may want a license plate that, except for your customization, looks pretty much like your home state's plates. On the other hand, you may want a totally different plate style from your official plate. You can chose from various custom plates (you choose the image you want to appear on your plate), such as job-related, humor and many others.
Pick the font and color you want to use for your text and enter the text. Preview your plate, and make sure that it looks the way you want it.
Save your plate, then place your order.
