SingSnap is one of the few online karaoke services that enables you to record karaoke versions of your favorite songs free of charge. For those wishing to take their karaoke skills one step further, with a little extra effort you can transfer your SingSnap karaoke covers to disk within a few minutes.
Purchase blank CD-Rs or CD-RWs on which to burn your recorded songs. CD-Rs can only be burned once, but CD-RWs can be burned as many times as you wish. These discs will usually allow for up to 80 minutes of music to be stored on them.
Download burning software that will enable you to transfer your SingSnap songs. A few examples are Nero Burning ROM, CDBurnerXP and Roxio (See Resources). Once you have downloaded and installed the software, you are ready to create your CD.
Make sure you have already downloaded your SingSnap recordings to your computer. You will be able to find and download any SingSnap recordings that you have made by going to the "Account" section of the SingSnap website and then navigating your way to the "Recordings" section.
Decide which of your SingSnap recordings you wish to include on your disc and open your burning software. Select a burning rate. The highest burning rate possible means that your disc will burn very quickly, while the slowest burning rate means it burns slowly and usually eliminates the possibility of any burning errors in the process. The burning process can take up to 10 minutes depending on how many songs you've decided to burn. Once this is complete, your CD of SingSnap recordings is available to play on nearly all CD systems.
