How we watch television and movies has changed drastically in the past decade. One of the biggest advances has been in 3-D viewing. An increasing number of movies and television programs are available to watch in 3-D. Buying 3-D glasses is easier than ever before and may be a great investment as these programs increase in number.
Amazon
Amazon.com offers a wide range of products, including 3-D glasses. For about $2 you can buy one pair of paper 3-D glasses, which are the least expensive but least durable. For about $12 you can buy plastic 3-D glasses that are more durable and tend to last longer than the paper glasses. Amazon purchases are delivered to your home. The shipping cost for 3-D glasses will be about $3.
Barnes & Noble
Many books now come in 3-D vision, allowing the reader to feel more involved in the story. Barnes & Noble sells plastic 3-D glasses for about $13. Some of its 3-D books and DVDs come with a free pair of paper 3-D glasses. Barnes & Noble stores can be found throughout the United States.
Discount Stores
Discount stores such as Wal-Mart, Kmart and Target sell plastic 3-D glasses. Some stores sell them individually for $10 to $20; others may provide a pair of paper glasses free with the purchase of a movie or book.
