Spruce up your concrete with a few coats of fresh paint. Clean the stained concrete using TSP, or trisodium phosphate. Mix the TSP in a plastic bucket with water and scrub the concrete using a wire brush. Allow to dry thoroughly.
Fill cracks and holes in your stained concrete using cement filler. Smooth over holes with the trowel. Allow to dry at least 24 hours.
Tape off the stained concrete border with masking tape. Apply one coat of oil-based Kilz primer to the concrete. Let dry thoroughly.
Apply one or two coats of oil-based paint. Wipe down drips with a clean cloth. Allow to dry 24 hours.
Pull away masking tape. Apply one coat of clear sealant. This will protect the paint and prevent scratches and smudges. Allow to dry thoroughly.
