How to Make a Popsicle Stick Picture Frame. Nearly every parent with a child who's attended a preschool or camp has been presented with the gift of a popsicle stick picture frame. It's an inexpensive and easy craft that children of a young age can do with little help. This, combined with the fact that it includes a picture of the child, makes this a craft that's perfect for any time of year and for any occasion.

Glue the sides of two popsicle sticks together. Repeat with the remaining sticks until you have four sets of two popsicle sticks. Allow them to dry before moving onto the next step.

Paste the sets of sticks together so that two are the vertical sides of the frame and two are the top and bottom of the frame. The sets will overlap. Allow the frame to dry.

Decorate the frame. Use paint or markers to color the frame and embellish it with stickers, glitter or whatever decoration you wish to use.

Trim the picture so that it's slightly bigger than the opening of the frame. Trim the cardboard so that it's slightly bigger than the picture. Glue the picture to the cardboard.

Attach the picture and cardboard to the back of the picture frame with glue.

Add display elements. Glue ribbon or yarn to the back and tie in a bow, to hang the frame, or glue magnets to the back to display the frame on a refrigerator or other metal surface.
