This article will tell you how to make a great rice bait for carp fishing.

Things You'll Need:

Things You Will Need

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • Whisk Or Stirring Spoon
  • 28 Ounce Box Of Instant Rice
  • 2 Ounces Flavoring Of Your Choice
  • 1 Cup Iodized Salt
  • 32 Ounce Bottle Of Ketchup
  • Bucket With Lid
  • First, get your bucket and add the ingredients in the following steps.

Pour in 32 ounce bottle of ketchup.

Add 1 cup of iodized salt.

Add 1 cup of powdered sugar.

Add 2 ounces of your choice of flavoring. You can use 2 ounces of any bottled flavoring, a box of flavored jell-o, or 2-3 packets of any flavor kool aid for this. I prefer the bottled flavoring.

Once you have added the ingredients above to the bucket, take a whisk or stirring spoon and stir well.

Next, pour in the 28 ounce box of instant rice and stir and mix it well, making sure all of the rice covered.

After you have stirred the rice in with the liquid and it is all mixed well, put the lid on the bucket and seal.

This bait needs to be made at least 24 hours before you intend to use it but it will keep for weeks and it will catch carp. Enjoy!
