Whether you are pulling a practical joke with friends, putting together a costume, or terrifying your boyfriend, creating a fake pregnant belly is a relatively simple task that will have your friends talking. Instead of spending a lot of money purchasing a fake pregnant belly, simply make the round belly out of an inflated balloon and wear the appropriate fashion and apparel to show off your new (and fake) baby bump.
Things You'll Need:
- 2 Tight Shirts
- Loose Shirt
- Plastic Wrap
- Rubber Balloon
Stretch out the rubber balloon between your fingers to prepare it for inflation.
Inflate the balloon so that it is roughly 1.5 ft. in diameter. Twist the balloon's end and tie a secure knot.
Mold and manipulate the rubber balloon so that it is spherical, rather than elongated.
Place the inflated balloon so that the tied end is located on or in your belly button. Placing it there helps you create a realistic placement for the appearance of being pregnant.
Ask a friend to wrap plastic wrap across the surface of the balloon and around your body several times so the balloon is secure. Apply the wrap tightly around the balloon to make its surface more round and to prevent the balloon from slipping out while you are wearing it.
Wear two layers of tight-fitting shirts directly over the fake pregnant belly. Put on a loose-fitting shirt over the layers.
