Things You'll Need

  • Dishcloth
  • Dish towel
  • Matching pot holder
  • Twist ties
  • Ribbon (optional)

No one can resist an angel. You can make a simple gift extra special with an angel design, and the recipient may not want to actually use his dishcloth, towel and matching pot holder. Put together this heavenly design in minutes.

Fold the dish towel back and forth in an accordion style. Then fold it in half.

Measure down approximately two to three inches and place a twister around towel to form angel's head. Set it aside

Fold the dishcloth accordion-style.

Take your pot holder and twist it together in the center, securing it with a twister. You will attach this to the dishcloth. You now have angel wings.

Lay the towel on top of potholder and washcloth. Bring the arms (washcloth) around and attach them 1 inch from the ends with a twister. This creates the hands and holds all the parts in place. Add some ribbon, a bow or some raffia around the angel's neck to conceal the twister.

Tips

  • Choose your ensemble to either match the recipient's kitchen or the season. Give it as a gift or use it to decorate a gift.

Warnings

  • You may have to add a disclaimer that dish washing services do not come with the equipment, unless you want to be extra generous.
