How to Get the G35 to Work on PS3

By Maya Austen ; Updated September 15, 2017

Unfortunately, the Sony PlayStation 3 does not currently support audio output through the USB. If you connect a Logitech G35 headset to the PS3, because the Logitech G35 uses a USB connection, you will only be able to get the headset to work with the PS3’s in-game chatting feature. You will not be able to hear the sound of the game through the headset.

Plug the G35’s USB cable into one of the USB ports on the PS3.

Navigate to “Settings,” “Accessory Settings,” then “Audio Device Settings” in the PS3’s Xross Media Bar.

Select the Logitech headset USB device under “Input Device.” Highlight and select “OK.”

Select the Logitech headset USB device under “Output Device.” Highlight and select “OK.”
