The Boss RC-20XL is a great pedal for looping vocals, guitar, or any other instrument you can plug into it. It is a useful tool for practice in your room or to create layers during a live performance. Whatever you're using it for, there will be times when you want to delete a recorded phrase.
Select the saved phrase that you want to delete by turning the PHRASE SELECT knob to the bank in which the phrase is saved.
Hold the EXIT and WRITE buttons at the same time until the lights on both buttons flash.
Press the WRITE button again to delete that phrase. The button light will be lit until the phrase has been fully deleted. You can cancel the deletion by pressing the EXIT button before the light turns off.
Warnings:
- Don't turn off the pedal while you are deleting the loop because it will delete all of the loops.
