Darts is a popular pub game that involves players or teams taking turns throwing darts at a circular board. Each player throws three darts at a board, which is divided into 20 slices, with four zones in each slice, and a two-tiered bullseye in the center. Certain slices are worth different points. Mount the electronic dartboard on the wall so the bullseye is five feet, eight inches above the ground.
Determine where the throwing line will be located, which is generally 7 feet 9¼ inches from the face of the board. Mark the line with tape, if desired, or simply make it clear where it is prior to the game.
Turn the dartboard on, and select the game or mode you wish to play. Most electronic dartboards will come with a number of different modes, including simple countdown games, such as 301 or 501, or more complex games, such as cricket or baseball.
