April Fidler started writing professionally in 1997, first as a copy chief for "The Exponent" and then as an entertainment and local writer. Fidler has also worked behind the scenes for many years editing and designing the layout of economics textbooks. She graduated from Purdue University in 1999 with a double Bachelor of Arts in creative and professional writing and psychology.
