Eyeshadows, lipsticks, brushes, blushes, powders, foundations and bronzers are just a few of the items many women have in their makeup collections. To keep the area in which you store all that makeup clutter-free, consider making an acrylic makeup organizer. Acrylic is a type of clear plastic often sold as Plexiglas. Purchase a large sheet of this plastic at a local hardware store and simply cut and glue to create a makeup organizer with a custom fit for a drawer in your home. Your makeup will be out-of-sight and clutter-free, reducing the time it takes you to get ready.

Measure the length, depth and width of the drawer that you plan to keep your makeup organizer in.
Measure and cut eight pieces of Plexiglas according to your drawer size. You should have one piece for the base of your organizer that is equal on all four sides; four equal pieces for the four walls; and four pieces for the compartment dividers, which will form a total of five compartments. One of the compartment dividers should be the entire length of the organizer. The other three compartment dividers should be three-quarters of the length of the organizer.
Place the base on a flat surface and glue all four sides to the base with silicone. Hold each piece in place until dry by placing small bean-bag weights up against the inside and outside of each side wall.
Start from the left edge and draw, using the pencil, three equally spaced horizontal lines across the organizer until you reach three-quarters of the way across the organizer. These lines indicate where you'll place the three short dividers. Use silicone to glue a divider on each of the three lines. Hold each piece in place until dry by placing small bean-bag weights up against the inside and outside of each side wall.
Draw a vertical line across the organizer directly up against and perpendicular to the three short horizontal dividers. This will mark where you'll place the last divider. Glue the divider on the line. This divider should sit the entire length of the organizer and perpendicular to the other three dividers. Hold in place until dry by placing small bean-bag weights up against the inside and outside of each side wall. You should now see four horizontal compartments toward the left side of the organizer and one vertical compartment toward the right side.
Let the glue completely dry for 24 hours and then scrape away any extra silicone adhesive with a razor blade to give the organizer a cleaner look.
Place the organizer in your drawer and fill accordingly with makeup.
