How to Do the Letter M in Block Writing

Text is a vital part of communication and the letter "M" is one of the most common in the English language. Block lettering is a sans serif style of lettering akin to the popular Helvetica.

Draw a vertical rectangle on your piece of paper.

Draw a second rectangle (of equal size) at a 45-degree angle so that the top right corner of each shape overlaps one another.

Draw a third rectangle (also of equal size) at an opposing 45-degree angle so that the bottom corner of rectangle two and rectangle three overlap.

Draw a fourth rectangle (also of equal size) vertically so that the upper right corner of the third and fourth shapes overlap.
