The Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa lies along Puerto Rico's southern coast, in a 16th century town called Guanica. Guests of the Copamarina can enjoy a scenic, 90-mile drive along the Panoramic Express Highway that connects Guanica and San Juan (Puerto Rico's capital and main airport).

All-Inclusive Packages

All-inclusive packages at the Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa include accommodations, breakfast, lunch, dinner, unlimited soft drinks and juices and unlimited house wine. Guests can also enjoy free water sports and nightly, live musical entertainment. As of October 2010, all-inclusive packages start at $216 per night, per person for a double occupancy room.

Resort Features

The Copamarina features two banquet facilities, babysitting services, tropical gardens, a convenience store and a fitness center. Guests can enjoy Wi-Fi Internet service throughout the hotel and smoke-free guest rooms. The Las Palmas Cafe serves breakfast and lunch in an open-air environment and the Alexandra restaurant serves seafood and local cuisines each night for dinner.


The Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa features a variety of accommodations, including guest rooms, villas and suites. Deluxe garden view rooms feature private patios and view of the resort's gardens. Deluxe ocean view rooms have private balconies with Caribbean Sea views. Deluxe ocean front rooms have private patios, with views of the sea, and one-bedroom suites have separate bedrooms, living rooms, patios or balconies and views of the gardens or Caribbean Sea. Copamarina villas feature three bedrooms, ocean views, verandas, hammocks and full kitchens, with stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, coffeemakers and microwaves.


Adjacent to the resort, guests can find opportunities for hiking, jogging and birdwatching in the Guanica Dry Forest, designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Situated on 20 acres, the Copamarina features a one-half mile beach on the Caribbean sea, where guests can enjoy kayaking, peddle boating and sailing. Kids can enjoy an afternoon at the on-site playground and tennis enthusiasts can play day or night on two lighted courts. The resort features two swimming pools, two Jacuzzis and a volleyball court and golfers can tee off at the Costa Caribe Golf and Country Club, 40 minutes from the Copamarina. The resort also provides tour arrangements for deep-sea fishing and whale watching trips.

Bodyderm Spa

The in-house Bodyderm Spa at the Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa offers body treatments, aromatherapy, pedicures, hydrotherapy, body wraps and manicures. Guests can enjoy custom-designed spa packages and meditation and yoga workshops.
